If we will depend on the algae, people would be ballistic in making and planting algae because it is in demand in making oil and people would tend to forget to indulge in farming. I have found some research that Cassava, a type of root crops can be the alternative of gas. The problem is farmers would not plant rice anymore but they will plant the Cassava. This would take place if Algae will be one of the major components in making oil. Another comment would be, I think this company is actually discovering another medicine and food supplements for human health and beauty. But is it reliable to make oil in the form of algae?
