Please rememeber the &quot;good old&quot; telephone days, when as a regulated industry they encouraged cost increases as the only means of justification for price increases, and as public companies, raising revenues raised stock prices - and executive bonuses.

There is likely less alturism in this stance, when viewed in a different perspective.</description>
