Corpotate America treats people as pawns in the game of "the bottom line" and will cut perks and cut people with out concern of the impact they are causing to the people they are retaining. If Corporations want to save money, ask the employees to help, they will get more savings from that then taking away small cost perks. Empower and put trust in your employees and they will rise to the challenge. I hope more Corporations will do what JetBlue is doing, and realize the Employees are the ones who make "the bottom line" and make them feel they are valued and needed to improve the bottom line. “Treat your people well” is a lost term in “Corporate America” as I call it.
