In this case CSR should mean Customer Service Representative. You've got to get your own house in order before you can properly assist others. In at least ten years there has been no cost of living increases and in the last several years there has been little or no merit increases. During our financial crisis I lost 24% of my 401K and $20,000 a year in expenses. At the age of 63 I'm not proud to tell my children I make around $33,000 a year after 20 yrs of service. The price of everything is going up and I still have no idea what stmulus means. They ruin our credit( I can give examples if necessary) then charge interest rates that even biblically would be considered usury, and now they seem to have forgotten us all together.

Another way to look at the jailhouse conversion of MBA's - finance's loss is the sustainability sector's gain. Lots of seasoned professionals will now be working for sustainable businesses. It's a chance for non-profits and social businesses to pick up some talent that would have gone for higher salaries - had they been available.

Great story! As a graduate student at Georgetown University and the Center for Social Impact Communication - I also wonder, what about the other 80%?

The "Attaining Sustainable Grown" report from which you quote is quite old and the "survey" link is broken. I could not find the "report issued today." Might you have the link?
Thanks,
Neal
