I don't know if it IS enough to pull us through this, but it can certainly make a big dent. Many consumers don't fully understand the incentives in place that they can be taking advantage of. Energy Star lays out some of those benefits pretty well for consumers http://www.energystar.gov/index.cfm?c=products.pr_tax_credits. That being said, there are some holes in the bill, but it can help out with several clean companies out there. Consumers can get tax breaks for windows, roofs, water heaters, solar panels, etc...
