The story for long has been one of terror however, in my experience (limited that it is) it is not working. You are right, we need a good metaphor for conveying the problem. The story for long has been one of terror however, in my experience (limited that it is) it is not working.

I have chanced upon one article by Alan Deutschman on Fast Company which is providing some real good ideas to reframe the issue.
